I like reading.  I like reading chapter books about rainbow magic.

When I don't know the words it is tricky sometimes.

If I get stuck I can sound it out.

Self Portraits

This term Room 9/27 have been learning to sketch a picture of our face.

We practised in our sketch books first and it was a very long process.

First we had to get the shape and size of our head right.  Then we had to work on our features like our eyes, nose, ears and mouth and other details that made us who we are.  Then we added in our hair and neck and shoulders.  It was hard work but we are very proud of our finished pictures which we coloured in using pastels.

I like to write about other people's stories. 

Sometimes it is tricky to write hard words. 

When I get stuck I can get my teacher to help me.
